Hey guys,

As I have discussed with a few of the local guys who seemed keen, War/Hordes will have 2 comps. 4 games of 500pts on the Saturday and 3 games of 750pts on the Sunday.

$25 will pay for your entry into both, but if you wish to only enter one then it is only $15 (with up to a $10 rebate with the cans).

The system will be standard SR4.

I will try and get the time table + missions up asap.

Scenarios:

Day 1 - 500pts:
(Round 1) Scenario 1 – Mosh Pit (SR4 pg.5)
(Round 2) Scenario 5 – Contested Ground (SR4 pg.9)
(Round 3) Scenario 7 – Process of Elimination (SR4 pg.11)
(Round 4) Scenario 2 – No-Man’s-Land (SR4 pg.6)

Day 2 - 750pts:
(Round 1) Scenario 6 – Break the Line (SR4 pg.10)
(Round 2) Scenario 8 – Ridge Raiders (SR4 pg.12)
(Round 3) Scenario 1 – Mosh Pit (SR4 pg.5)

Steam Roller can be found here

Cheers,
AJ

It would be nice if it wasn't - if it isn't then I'll definitely enter, but if it is then there's no way I'm getting a whole army painted ... Wink

Entry form can be found here: http://cavaliers.org.nz/happenings/span-classdate-display-single2009-june-27span/tempest-2009

Kam: That is correct, there will be no painting required but there may be a prize for best painted, depending on numbers.

Troll has foolishly challenged me to a silly hat match at tempest day 1. Whichever of us loses if we play (looking at you to rig the draw here AJ) will be forced to wear his 'King Cabbage' chefs hat as a mark of shame for the rest of the day.
Everyone attending should be prepared to point and laugh mercilessly as I destroy him utterly! Twisted Evil

Sounds like there won't be much challenge in the 40k tourney this year. Time for Selby to get a placing Very Happy

You'd better hope it doesn't turn out to be a "Silly Hats Only" tournament. I for one will be bringing a bat just in case.
