Now that the Tau are out of the way for now, I'm now starting on my marauder army for a doubles tournament in Feb.

The idea of the army is Beorg's personal warband. For those of you unfimiliar with Beorg, he is a Dogs of War character.I am sculpting Beorg using the Reaper Hero armature.

I'll post the list later.

The colour scheme I'll be using is the same I did for my BB Norse Team, The Urslo Grizzlies:

Anyway here is original Beorg Sculp next to the start of the on foot version:

And mounted version:

Here's the army wiz, Tim the Enchanter:

The M Horsemen:

The Giant:

And my personal favourites, the Ursogryns or Ogre half Bears:

Don't like the rider. He has no pants. Or face. Wink

Looks like being another cool army!

Looking good AJ!

You paint and convert so well and quickly that it is sometimes hard to "bear" (get it?)

They're lookin' great AJ. Really like the theme too, they're going to look excellent as a whole army.

What are the blank models you've used to build up the foot and mounted Beorg onto? Never seen them before.

That troll in your BB team always cracks me up too, he's a dead-ringer for General Woundwort from the cartoon Watership Down movie Smile

The blanks are the Reaper Hero (male) armatures. I also have some female ones as well

Biggish update, finished the Ursogryns, Giant and Tim the Enchanter, as well as finishing the sculpt for the mounted beorg.

First up Giant with details of his base:

Still thinking of adding a hobbit bag to his belt.

Next is the updated sculpts for Beorg, still thinking or adding dreds to the figure (as per the original):

Next is the finished Ursogryns:

Finally here is Tim the Enchanter:

I have also started work on my background for the army on my website:
http://blackcitadel.thegameengine.net/node/31

Yes I realise I have misspelled Beastiary.

Another update, this time a unit if dogs and Mcav finished + Bear Chariot :p

The chariot is the HE lion chariot, Ive sculpted the extra hair to try make them look kind of like bears, the muzzles are still too wide and the hind legs are the wrong style, but apart from that I'm happy with them.
